Current affiliate approach
MyMoneyAnswer is not using broad affiliate monetization right now. Wealthsimple is the only approved near-term affiliate candidate if an affiliate link is used.
If a Wealthsimple affiliate link appears on the site, it should be clearly labeled before or near the link.
What affiliate links mean
An affiliate link means MyMoneyAnswer may earn compensation if a user clicks the link and takes a qualifying action. This does not create an extra cost for the user.
Editorial independence
Affiliate compensation must not determine whether a product is mentioned, how it is described, or where it appears. Content should remain useful even if affiliate links are removed.
Product mentions
Other platforms, banks, brokerages, books, or tools may be mentioned for educational context. Unless clearly disclosed, those mentions should be treated as neutral, non-affiliate references.
Before monetization expands
MyMoneyAnswer should build trust pages, editorial standards, useful content, and clear disclosures before adding Google Ads, additional affiliate programs, tracking scripts, or advertising scripts.
